Christmas is coming and for those of us who like to make things the creative juices have started flowing, got yo start early if you are making your own!

I thought it would be fun to share things we are making for Christmas please post pictures (and instructions if you are happy to share)

Getting us started: I just turned some of those glass dessert pots into candles!

Used some acrylic paints which I had left over from building a tunnel for my sons railway and some ribbon, (I’ve been saving those bits the shops put on clothes to keep them on the hangers) which I stuck on with my glue gun. Then added a Christmas tea light (£1 for 24 in primark)

so I have 12 of these for gifts and my Christmas table

Very pretty @kath72
I think I've left it too late for my usual "homemade Christmas" item, that being Christmas pudding, which needs about 3 months to mature.

@revjonty ... never too late and you can always add extra brandy it’ll mature quicker Smiley Wink

Great idea @kath72 haven’t started yet, but looking forward to getting some ideas from this. We usually make potato candle holders, nearer the time, and wreaths made from cardboard with sweets glued on like Quality Street or similar, good to be able to eat

Nice idea, @kath72, but believe me, I couldn't put any more into my recipe, I've already got it at saturation point

My pudding recipe is very rich, lots of booze, lots of nuts, lots of fruit. Experimentation has given me a pretty perfect pud (for my taste anyway).
