Merry Christmas everyone we’ve had a lovely day starting out with an American breakfast at Wetherspoons and spent hours browsing round the shops and I’m now off to scan all my receipts. No more making or doing anything now it’s time to take it easy and feet up 😻

Christmas is coming and for those of us who like to make things the creative juices have started flowing, got yo start early if you are making your own!

I thought it would be fun to share things we are making for Christmas please post pictures (and instructions if you are happy to share)

Getting us started: I just turned some of those glass dessert pots into candles!

Used some acrylic paints which I had left over from building a tunnel for my sons railway and some ribbon, (I’ve been saving those bits the shops put on clothes to keep them on the hangers) which I stuck on with my glue gun. Then added a Christmas tea light (£1 for 24 in primark)

so I have 12 of these for gifts and my Christmas table

I wish you a merry Christmas and a happy, peaceful 2019.

Normally cards, little touches around the house too.

as we knew we were moving home close to Christmas, made Christmas cake ahead of time and kept it fed with brsndy

cake is delicious, and the little touches have made the house look special too

quite understand the time constraint for a lot of people, but I love making things rather than bringing out the same things year after year

well done
