We don't really do Valentine's, @kath72 but husband's birthday is in Feb, I've offered to bake him a cake (haven't done a BD cake for ages) so I'll pop that on the thread if that's ok. Maybe it'll inspire others to have a go. My track record is pretty hilarious. 😂😂 Watch this space.

This will be my first Valentine's Day with my boyfriend so will be looking for ideas to impress him.  My home baking went down well at Christmas so will try again for this 🙂🙂🙂

I totally understand not celebrating ... especially as it has become so commercialised, another selling opportunity capitalising on making people think they have to show their love for another on a specific day.

I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything for it .. always a home made card and cakes or biscuits or similar! But it’s better to let them know they are appreciated all year round too !
