Funding for cancer treatment, funding for mental health, funding for social care, funding for maternity units..

The main problem with this announcement.

It's coming out the mouth of a politician.

And being it's from a politician, it's usually the case the belief is, it is originating from an entirely different orrifice than the one being used...!

Just exactly who the hell is going to believe it...!

Me, not being one...!

It's probably too little,too late.

My local "hospital" (term used loosely) lost it's A&E years ago (they saved my life) and maternity years ago (my two sons were born there).

They haven't mentioned where the money is going to come from.

@bobsta Nor have the opposition said it'll implement it when this government is toppled

@kenralph

I agree. I doubt they would implement it. They would much rather spend it on something else.

Spend what?

Where is this money tree that doesn't exist except in the minds of the conservative supporters and the Brexiteers

One way in which they will try to do this,
As with " there will never be an early election,

And,

" The brexit vote will definitely go ahead"

And,
" There will "NOT" be another rise on tax..!"

And,

" Pledge to take more lower paid out of tax completely..!"

They're going to raise tax..!

They caused all the trouble in the first place with austerity and ridiculous cuts to everything nhs.....turning round now and trying to put their collective finger in the dam won't do a blind bit of good now .

Too little too late ..good old Tory thinking .
