Just gets worse, it's pure and simply treason, she should be locked up

Don't talk rubbish @mrbond007.

She's not my cup of tea either and she's certainly made mistakes over the years. However she cannot be accused of betraying her country. You do know that that is what treason means, don't you?

So sad that people still do not understand that for which they voted.

The act of treason dates back to 1351 and is '... designed to punish people plotting or "imagining" the death of the monarch, "levying war" or "adhering to the King's Enemies'.  The last person to be tried for treason was Nazi collaborator and sympathiser William Joyce (Lord Haw, Haw) in 1945 and executed in 1946.  Before you start accusing people of treason @mrbond007 you ought to know what it means.

@majorincident in fairness it depends if one refers to the dictionary definition or the legal one though

@andyslc in fairness no one could accuse May of treason, whether you choose to use a dictionary or legal definition.

@andyslc, the extracted quote from this article, which discusses whether the Act needs updating.

" Is May guilty of treason" by The Telegraph.

MPs have accused the Daily Telegraph of being “shockingly irresponsible” for suggesting Theresa May might be “guilty of treason”.

A column by Christopher Howse in Tuesday’s paper was published online with the headline: “Is Theresa May guilty of treason? Plenty of readers think so. Politicians would be wise to listen up.”

The piece claimed the newspaper has received angry letters and emails from readers saying the Prime Minister’s Chequers Brexit Plan amounted to “treason” and a betrayal of voters.

Oh, what a mess. I think this is it, no brexit. The deal is dead, the Government is almost dead and Mrs. May is on a life support machine that could be turned off at any time...probably by herself.
