Ungrateful o2 customers

Read a post on Facebook regarding what compensation o2 are giving their customers after last weeks fiasco. 

Lots of people moaning about only getting 2 days worth of money back depending on tariffs or payg. 

What they moaning for. They were still able to make calls. Well I just didn’t have texts or internet with giffgaff but that didn’t bother me as I was still able to call my carer/son who is also on giffgaff. 

I have severe health and mental illness issues but I managed ok. These moaning people are acting like it was the end of the world. 

Btw o2 said it was a software glitch...they can’t really blame a computer as it takes a human to input details into a computer

a guy in H/S is saying he lost £110 in wages and hopes giffgaff will sort him out.

I agree @bipolartracey1974 I think 2 days worth of compensation would be OK.

Doesn't sound like it was actually o2's fault anyway - things happen, we all make mistakes.

@bipolartracey1974 It was quite a mixture, some people where not able to make or receive calls, texts were a bit mad and no data, giffgaff have a good will fund set aside for people who wish to follow up on this https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Announcements/December-6th-s-outage-what-we-re-doing-to-say-sorry/... glad to hear you managed ok despite your difficulties, that's really good 😊, that C word (Compensation, that is) has been on the forum a lot the last few days.

all o2 is giving in the new year is 10% top up extra when you add £10.

I just had a good day without my phone.

I did have a backup sim from another network ( sounds a simple remedy if you realy need to phone )

But i didnt use it.

I went shopping and bought most of my christmas shopping  ( can i claim comro for how much i spent )Smiley LOL

Could not agree with you more.
Some of the claims being asked for begger belief.
Saw on. Post where the member said they had lost £1000 in an on line car auctioand wanted compensation.
You would think last Thursday was the end of the world.
