So I know it's abit early but have any of you made plans for valentine's ?

You don't necessarily have to have a partner... Maybe your going out with your friends?

Do you you think it's a nice gesture, when you both take time out to really appreciate each other ...Or doo you think it's a con? An we should be doing it anyway excluding the hype and presents.

My mom will be having the kids so we have planned to go out for a meal and cinema.

Hi @kirstyfellows17 hope you both had a wonderful evening.

We have never done it, and yes, I do think its a con. We can show each other any day of the year how we feel

I have a few plans for Valentines day - plan to spend valentines with my girlfriend!
In previous years when I've been single, I've still celebrated Valentines Day - making hearth themed cakes to share with family and friends, and sharing chocolates, etc.! Smiley Very Happy

After 24 years together, I think nope. Dont get me wrong the first few years we were together we did but we were young.

We buy each other gifts all the time and tell each other we love them all the time so really we dont need Valentines Day, we have date nights and nights away every month.

I think Valentines Day is cheesey. Dont do cupids or Fluffy Devil teddys or I WUV OOO but thats up to the individual.

Enjoy your Valentines @kirstyfellows17

Another hallmark holiday to milk the suckers. Choose your own times for romance not one designed to take your money.

I'm afraid I'm not a fan - most women seem to lap it up and us guys have to put on a brave face Smiley Very Happy

We don't celebrate @kirstyfellows17.

I regularly buy my wife flowers, tell her and show her I love her every day, buy presents when she's least expecting them.

Never gone along with it as I don't need a specific calendar date to be romantic.

Enjoy your day though.
