I use different shops for different occasional items @ht80.  Sainsbury's, Lidl, Morrisons and Asda - but the main bulk of our shopping comes delivered by Tesco, because I tried several of them and Tesco were by far the best for delivery - Sainsbury's definitely the worst !  As for price, not much to choose - they all have special offers on some things, but in our area at least, Lidl is probably cheapest.

Local farm shop for as much as is possible, then get the rest from Tesco because, although the price looks higher than Aldi or Lidle, the quality is so much better that there is less wastage.

How come nobody has mentioned Co-op? They tend to be quite good for reduced goodies. Lidl don't bother, neither do Waitrose much. Tesco not too bad if you time it right, as are Morrisons. Sainsbury's on the other hand would rather throw stuff away than do their customers a good deal.

Depends on the store!

Aldi and lidl are terrible for fruit and veg mostly.tesco and asda are cheap overall with good quality fruit and veg .

Iceland is ok but not for a major shop just small amounts.

Near me we have what was not sure I'd still is but the biggest Asda in uk, but I used it only twice as it's too much in my opinion 🙄 cheap though
