Wrong micro-sim cut?

Yes, that looks like it will short out, needs more plastic around the edges, could you try it in a phone?

On the microgiff site it says there has to be a little plastic around them, so are these useless?

that will probably need to be thrown out since theres no plastic around the edge, check the rest of the sim and see if theres any gold missing or any gold part stuck inside the cut out part

but check that no gold part is missing and then it will PROBABLY work

Hi aq33l,

Looks like you are pushing the sim too far into the cutter, look at the bottom of the cutter and make sure you have some plastic showing either side before you make the cut.

i think they work fine i have sent out a few out like that (my sim ccard cutter dosent cut them any other way) and i have had a few activations so i think it will work fine has anyone been able to cut sims like the one in the microgaff guide with a lupo cutter
