Reckon the ole gal calculated that she was gonna be put somewhere without her feelings being taken account of and preferred the look of the penitentiary and getting the chance to make a cautionary tale of her sons plan

She now says she's sorry.  I sincerely doubt that the state is going to press for the execution of a 92 year old woman, so if she lives any longer could go to prison.

What a terrible story ! I know how difficult it is taking care of a parent, I looked after my Mum for twenty years.

She was completely disabled and couldn't do anything for herself, plus she had suffered Alzheimers for many years and the last twelve years were hell.

I also had three kids to raise as a single parent , no way would I place my Mum in a home no matter how tough it was.
