original moto g lollipop update

Was wondering if anybody has got this on the original moto g if they have can you tell me if there are any issues with it, thanks

I think the latest version is 5.0.2, but rumoured 5.1 is about to be released shortly. Some people don't like the layout or green & white colours, some say it drains the battery faster than Kitkat did.

I think some users in other countries received it for soak testing, but as far as I know there is no widespread release yet.

Yet Motorola promised a release by December 2014.

I doubt you will ever see the Moto G (original version) updated to Lollipop. I'm so pleased I returned mine.

Received OTA update Monday 09/03/2015 Moto G XT1032. All seems to be OK - did a backup then factory reset after installation then restored apps, setting sms, etc.

I have just checked my - yes - original Moto G and the update is waiting and the OTA update is ready to install. Blurb says it is Android 5.0. I am very very wary as the phone runs fine on Android 4.4.4. Will do some checking before I agree install.
