And another one billion £'s by Monday to top up the funding for london Crossrail link.

Which is estimated (ESTIMATED) to cost

£15,000,000,000. Then for Chris grayling, the transport secretary, unveiled plans to cut back projects to electrify railways in south Wales, the east Midlands and the north of England. Then two days later to announce Crossrail two, which is estimates to cost £31,000,000,000

Difference of spending between London,

& everywhere else.

Then on top of that, that's just transport.

This being a sewer.

The government hiding costs behind complex finance deals which leaves vast majority of risk with the tax payer..

If spending were equal regarding Infrastructure, the amount given to areas outside London would equate to around £59,000,000,000

Which I imagine would have made a difference to so many area's

From the time I've had down there,, I did find they "ARE" that miserable.

I lived in London for 13 years, in Hackney. Met some of my most favourite people there. It wasn't dissimilar to Made in Chelsea darling. A complete gas! Pubs were heaving in Shoreditch and Hoxton and Angel Islington. Well good it was 👍 @evr301265

Crossrail 2, Smiley Surprised they'll be lucky to get HS2 built.  The delay and cost over run on Crossrail is mindboggling.  The trains are pretty though and the ride comfortable.

The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars but in ourselves.

Imagine if Thomas Telford was alive today. He'd never get to build anything. The press would be banging on about cost overruns on the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The Welsh Government would be moaning about the length of the Shropshire Union canal in England.

We are building infrastructure which will last for hundreds of years. The Channel Tunnel wasn't cheap. Neither was Dinorwig power station. Just get crossrail and HS2 complete and they will pay for themselves many times over in time.
