What about this as a solution,

As Londoners are so miserable anyway, it's not going to make that much difference if London, and Londoners, pay back every single penny that's been wasted on another pet project for London,

And they fund the £15,000,000,000 cost so far, never mind the £600,000,000 they are asking for now,

It's not as if when it's finished it would help me get home living In birmingham, imagine it's the same for those living in Liverpool, living in Sheffield, living in Bognor Regis...

Sorry not paying to read it, but at a guess it's the supposed new fast rail network, that will benefit London nope London should pay not the rest of us, after all they cancelled the link to the North, so stuff em.
