should there be a maximum age to vote ?

There is a minimum age to vote, shouldn't there be a maximum age too?

Much more important is that it should be verified that people have at least a basic level of knowledge and understanding of what they're voting on before being given the right to vote.

I'd be happy with people of any age voting on that basis.

Spot on. No maximum age, but a minimum IQ.

After all if don't even need to know how to read you can drop a cross in any box
