3 times failed to submit transfer

I have tried to submit my wife's completed transfer tel. number form over the past 90 mins & each time it say "something has gone wrong.Try again". Any ideas why this is happening.

You need to allow 24 hours after SIM activation for the tranfer form to 'validate'.


If it has been longer than this then

Log out of giffgaff

Clear your browser cache

Delete all cookies

Log into your wife's account and try again

Get a free giffgaff Sim

The error 'Something went wrong with your request, please try later' is often caused by an issue with the PAC you're entering. This could be any of the following:

  1. Wrong PAC/MSISDN (mobile number) combination - a PAC is issued for a specific MSISDN
  2. Error while entering the PAC/MSISDN
  3. Error in PAC given by old network
  4. PAC expired
  5. PAC already used

If you're certain you've entered the details correctly, please try using a different browser or device. If the issue persists contact your old provider and ask them to re-confirm the PAC. When they reply that it's correct, ask again!

Try using another browser if possible, and try clearing your browser cache and cookie data and try again and see if that helps.
