3G internet timeout FIX and youtube Buffer FIX! - Working on satio

To fix any issues you have with youtube timing out or slow internet browsing on 3G signals all you have to do is go into your internet seting and remove the proxy server address and port for example on the satio you go

 

settings >> connectivity >> destinations >> internet (if not yet assigned it will be in uncategorised) >> then giffgaff WAP then you will see proxy server address and port just remover them both and you should be sorted

 

just thought i would share that cause it was bugging me for long

there was an additional step of  .... options > advanced settings......... (on my phone)

 

so ive tried this, will see if it makes any actual difference!

aye no1 should use the proxy. its like an appendix. server no purpose but can cause problems

Yeah, this is a common problem in Nokias especially and I often mention the removal of the proxy as a solution.

Good idea to put it in the Top Tips.

QUESTION FOR THE EXPERTS: Is the proxy really useless, or does it serve a purpose?

In addition to the above, Windows Mobile users need to ensure that HSDPA is enabled by going to Start > Settings > Phone > Advanced > HSPA Setting > Enable HSDPA / HSUPA

A problem has occurred on the satio now it dont work without the proxy Smiley Sad this is bad for youtube im seeing if i can work around it but any suggestions.
