Account suspended

Hi. 

I've had a text saying my account is temporary suspended and to follow the link and verify lots of details.

Can anybody tell me if this is legit. As things seem to be working as normal

YES! it is a phishing scam! 

 

Please DON'T click on any of the links- ever. 

 

Whenever you receive anything- whether by text or email, claiming to be an instituition- ALWAYS verify with the instituition directly FIRST- before clicking on anything. In this case, you came straight to giffgaff to check and verify, which is excellent! 

 

These are scammers trying to gain your log-in details which in return will provide them access to your card and banking details as all of this is available under your payments page. 

 

Don't worry though, you're safe as long as you didn't fill in any of the information.

@kirstyb111 This is a scam, and it is turning up on all the networks. Don't respond to it, delete the message and block the number

Thanx I did enter username and password (which I have now changed) then became suspicious when i was asked all the other detsils
