Activate my Sim

Hello. I just got a replacement sim but I also got one with the phone I just bought. I can’t use either of them. I’ve entered the activation code but it didn’t work for some reason - I can’t receive texts and calls.

Hi, what's the error message you see with both codes?

did you bar the sim on your account?
Did you buy a goodybag with the phone purchase from giffgaff?

Look on order history

Can you see the phone (and?) goodybag purchases?

What date did you last top up or buy a goodybag?
Can you see that recent transaction in order history?

Hello @blackbeutt you reported your sim as stolen? If you have you need to wait for a special sim with your phone number and credit on it. It should arrive within a few days and it's the only sim that can be used

the only sim you can use is the replacement if you reported it lost @blackbeutt

if its been a long time since activating and its still not working contact an agent here.

I activated the Sim and it said it’s already activated but I can’t use my phone for calls or texts. Also, the new sim that came with the phone had a goody bag on it but doesn’t reflect in my account, only the remaining credit and goody bag from my previous sim. 

I can access my account and see how much credit and data I have but I can’t make/receive calls and texts.

Can you see your remaining minutes when you dial *100*7# ?

Can you call 443 but not 43430?

Did you select and buy a goodybag with the phone purchase
Or
Did it state you would receive a free goodybag with the phone purchase?

And there's no sign of the goodybag purchase with the phone purchase in order history?

I can see my minutes. I can access voicemail but can’t receive calls and texts.
“Last Line No Longer Available - Do you want to call using your remaining line? - Call / Cancel “. Then “Call Failed”

once a replacement sim regains a signal, a barring of services is usually still present 
(only a call to 443 plus a few free shortcode numbers will work) 

This is usually removed automatically within 12 hours 

If it isn't, contact an agent to remove the bar manually

I bought a £15 goody bag with the phone because I didn’t have an active sim (I blocked my sim after my phone got stolen). I got two sims in the post and activated one of them. An error message came up saying try again which I did and then got a message saying sim is already activated. But I still can’t use it.
