I’ve received a new GiffGaff sim, I have topped up £20 for a goody bag.
When I try to put my sim into my iPhone 7, it says the sim is not authorised!!!!
Ive tried taking it out, leaving it for a bit then putting back in. And still it’s not working.
The sim is activated and topped up, but still not working?!
Can somebody help me asap and I’m not happy about this!!!!

SIM Activations can take between 30 minutes and 24 hours to complete, when the activation is fully completed under your dashboard

As agents deal with many queries, it can take up to 24 hours to get a reply, but usually you get a reply in a couple of hours.

If the SIM is activated then check the signal in your area to check for any faults with the network in your area. You can do so by following this link https://giffgaff.com/coverage-and-service
PLEASE NOTE: the checker only gets updated once an hour so if your problem has just started, or you’re not sure how long it’s been happening, if it says all is good, keep trying for a while to see if it gets an update.

and try turning your device OFF for a couple of minutes and then turn it back ON again to force the device to refresh the network signal.

Unfortunley I've realised that my phone isnt unlocked, and I have already topped up the goody bag so it has started.
Is there any way I can get a refund??

Raise a support ticket (link), explain that getting your phone unlocked is taking longer than expected, and ask if the goodybag can be cancelled and the equivalent airtime credit be put onto your account instead.
