Has anyone had any problems with activation as I bought a 12 pound goody bag on the 28/11/12 at around 10.30 and still not activated, thank you

Please make sure first..
Remember if you have just activated your sim or added a goodybag in normal circumstances the top-up or activation is applied within minutes.
But it can take upto 30mins to 24hrs.. to show on your account

See official giffgaff update here, Goodybags applying incorrect balance.

    Some £10 goodybags this morning have been applied with incorrect levels of data allowance and minutes.
    Some accounts are showing "Balance N/A" and others are showing pending, processing or updating.
    Some members are unable to buy goodybags.

These issues are related and we are looking into them. If you are affected please do not contact an agent.

Giffgaff problems

There have been problems related to the tooping up, credit and goodybag services today. There is no ETA at this current time but we believe that they are making good progress in fixing the issue. Unfortunately, giffgaff cannot reply to everyone individually who reports a problem through the agents so they advise you check this thread for the latest updates and ETA’s:

Activation problems is also caused by this because you top up to activate

Hi sorry to hear this but Unfortunately Giff Gaff are having few issues at the moment..with Delayed goodybags,
top ups and activations so give it a few hour and try again.

usually activation are complete within half an hour, however it would appear that there are some techinical difficulties which are being dealt with by the giffgaff team

There have been issues today with top ups/purchasing of goodybags/activations today.Giffgaff are working on getting the issues sorted out.

Message an agent and let them be aware of thwho problem but just wait till tomorrow morning there systems might be down.
