Hello,

Running CM7 on my HTC Legend but one thing that keeps bugging me is changing the voicemail number. It recognizes my network as O2-UK but also has the voicemail set as 901 (O2's number).

If I try to change it in Settings > Call settings, I get the error message 'Call settings error' Voicemail number change unsuccessful. Please contact your operator if this problem persists.

Any other way to change it? Or a workaround for this?

Tried a couple of different ROMs but I really didn't like them.

So I decided to get my CM7 ROM and try and play around with that and I managed to fix it.

It is just as easy to dial 443 to get the voicemails. It maybe that you need to delete the existing number first

I want to change the number so that I can just press the voicemail notification and dial it.

Tried rebooting a few times but no luck.

Strange, you don't have a contact in your phone simply under voicemail? Can you change that to 443?
