Brand new iphone 6s already having problems

I can't do before Tuesday so that's why It has to be then at the earliest! I'm covered by 30 day dissatisfaction thing with GiffGaff until 1st August, so just trying to work out if Apple would be quicker as I'd be taking it in myself, but if that ends up being 2 weeks as well then I'd be just as well sending it to GiffGaff, so I'm kinda stuck!

Just really hoping it's not an issue with a bad batch or something as I know there was a number of them with battery issues a while back causing various issues (I've checked and my serial number isn't one of them)
I'll return for a replacement then, any idea of how long this process usually takes at all?


Could take about 10 days

Better than waiting at least 2 weeks, i'll take it to Apple and will update with my findings!

I don’t have a physical receipt but I can show them the email! I’ll take everything, thank you! Yep, app refresh is already off and I’ve only been using the charger it came with Smiley Happy

As you've already booked the appointment with apple, your phone is new thus covered by the warranty, you'll likely walk out of the apple store with a brand new replacement, of if something simple fixed within minutes.

A much better turn round time than sending to gg, turn round time approx 14 days

I was told by the GG agent it'd be no more than 5-8 working days for a replacement, and it's only up to 14 if it's sent for repair, but because it's so new it's eligible for a replacement Smiley Happy
All sent off today, hopefully I'll have a replacement mid-week next week!

@cl0akincellar  Because it's Friday your working days start from Monday, takes you into the realms of 24 July or so, which is almost two weeks, hopefully sooner though.

Yeaah I know, the agent said it should be much sooner than 5 working days though, and I have that in writing so if it takes more than 8 working days I have a valid complaint for compensation due to loss of work etc Smiley Happy

Anyone else had trouble tracking a return? It was working fine all weekend and today when it should have arrived, the returns page either doesn't load or comes up with an error message?
