It does cost one quid a minute trust me i know as i accidentally dialled it on my phone once. The ability to call it should be removed and blocked and the scandlous price to call it. Its not as if you where on Asda mobile that by calling 191 you get put through to vodafone, or with virgin calling 150 you get put through to tmobile. If anything it should be blocked calling the number.

Exactly, I've been saying that all along, I started a thread over 2 years ago asking why giffgaff dosnt remove the ability to call that number and a few others,

if its a special number why cant you call 202 on a vodafone tmobile three mobile sim and get put through to o2. If anything i think its a mistake it being allowed to call it and set at a disgusting rate. Calling o2 0845 number would have cost 12p a minute exactly to go though to the same service. Or many find cheaper ways of doing than that. One quid is disgusting come on gg either remove it or charge it at 12p.

To be honest this valid complaint. Wonder what of Ofcom would say?

*****DO NOT CALL 202 FROM A GG MOBILE *****

I just did the same. Thought as I was on O2 previously (left O2 less than a week ago), it would be free. My goodybag had run out and spent more than £8. Infuriated!!! not sure if it would be included in minutes from a goodybag or would be debited from inclusive minutes???

Tell me about it, I've repeatedly misdialled a number before which happened to have the first few digits of an O2 topup number (which I shouldn't have been able to dial in the first place!) so I was being charged £1 a time! I didn't realise where my credit all went at first. Eventually after a lot of complaining an agent finally agreed to refund it back to my balance. giffgaff ought to sort this out so you can't dial these O2 numbers from giffgaff.
