Can I use account with different number

Would I be able to remove a number I’m using from giffgaff account and put a new number in instead

Hi cac90, Yes you can do it through your my giffgaff account, you can change your number for free or if you have a old number that you would like too use you can, just call up your old network and request a Pac code then head over to your giffgaff account and log it!

@cac90 You can change your giffgaff number by going to https://giffgaff.com/profile/details#msisdn and following the instructions there. Giffgaff will assign you a new randomly generated phone number. It can take up to 4 hours for the number change to complete and you will need to restart your phone for your phone and SIM to work with the new number. Note that the number change service is not available between 21:30PM and 04:30AM every night. 

 

You can also bring a mobile phone number from a different network. If this is what you plan to do, you need to ask your currnet mobile operator for a port authorisation code (PAC) and submit it to https://giffgaff.com/support/transfer . You will be asked to choose a date for the transfer. Make sure to read all the details on that page because they explain what will happen on the date of transfer e.g. a complete loss of service on both SIMs until the transfer is complete.

You have 2 options. You could port a number into giffgaff from another network or change the number for a new random one. See here https://giffgaff.com/profile/details#msisdn
