Can anyone confirm if giffgaff signal outages reported in by other websights today are accurate. I've had intermittent and varying signal strength today and now at 20.20pm no signal at all. Had a new Galaxy 3 delivered yesterday with no signal problems until today.

hello there

here`s all ive got on the no service front

firstly turn your handset off then back on.

Check to see if there are any issues or outages with the nework signal where you are: http://www.bit.ly/ggservicestatus

If network signal is fine you can try manual roam to see if that helps http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/giffgaff-Top-Tips/manual-roam/td-p/3345471

some people have installed this android app for improved reception and reckon its better.i`m not sure myself

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.staircase3.opensignal&hl=en_GB

if you have an iphone try turning airplane mode on and off again.this doesn`t always help but it has been known to work sometimes

Which part of london? It's a big city after all.

Have you checked the service checker for your area? http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Service-Updates/Service-Checker-and-Planned-Mast-Maintenance/td-p/4...

Please check the network coverage of your area here:
http://bit.ly/ggservice

In addition, try doing this manual roam onto your device:

Try restarting your device.

Scholar

Thanks for your post:- "Check O2 site........" came closest to being helpful. However O2 only admitted they'd had problems which were reported in media stories two days ago.

Thanks again to you and others who tried to help with responses to my post.
