@sweetpea290

Sorry to see you leave giffgaff,

There are two easy ways to get your PAC code

1) Please dial 43431 and follow the voice prompts

OR

2) Go to  http://giffgaff.com/help/pac-code-request

Your PAC code will arrive as SMS within 2 hours (normally much faster) and will also appear under your number on your giffgaff home page.

Please note that you cannot request a PAC if you have reported a SIM as lost or stolen (this is to prevent fraudulent transfers away from giffgaff).

Finally, please ensure you remove any saved credit/debit card details under your payment details page here https://giffgaff.com/profile/payment-details

Good luck with your new network.

@sweetpea290 Stop any recurring goodybags/auto top ups and remove payment details from your giffgaff account, dial 43431 for your PAC? Any airtime credit will be lost when you port your number away, so do use it up if you have any before you leave as it cannot be refunded.

To get your pac, all you need to do is call 43431 and follow the prompts. You will be given the pac over the phone and it'll show up on your main account page.

@sweetpea290
To transfer your number over to a new provider, you will need to give a Porting Authorisation Code(PAC code) to your new network.

You can ask for your PAC code online here. https://giffgaff.com/help/pac-code-request Or you can dial 43431 free from your phone and follow the instructions.

Once you've requested your PAC it will sent to you along with its expiry date by SMS within minutes. To see your PAC instantly, go to your My giffgaff dashboard here https://giffgaff.com/dashboard and look under your mobile number.

You'll need to give the PAC to your new network within 30 days and they will advise you of the likely transfer date.

As the transfer day approaches, don't forget to cancel any recurring goodybag settings or automated top-ups and remove your payment-card details from your payment details page here http://www.giffgaff.com/profile/payment-details to avoid any future charges.
