Hi are we getting compansated for my loss of work yesterday due to being unable to use my phone what so ever disgusting

There is no automatic right to compensation for PAYG customers despite the 'silly figures' being bandied about on the internet.

 

Your 'direct' loss would have been no more than one day of goodybag usage and giffgaff, if they compensate at all, may well limit any goodwill payment to that level.

 

No decision has been made but, when O2 fell over for an extended period a couple of years ago, giffgaff were fairly swift in making an offer.

Dear Mr.,

I am writing this post in order to complain for the incident happened on 6th December. I could not use my data which I am paying for and I also paid for a new goodybag worth £20.

I feel really disgusted as I usually use my data whenever I am not at home.

I would like to recieve a compensation for the cost of this incident as well as my £20 I paid for because of your error.

If you rely on your phone for work have a back up plan. In case you lose your phone, the may goes down or an outage. Landline is a good way to avoid such issues

Other than Giffgaff T&C exclude business use, and consiquential loss, and you have agreed to those termsn.   you could have wifi at home.  and a cheap PAYG sim on another network, that would have in the most of cases provided a sufficiently robust backup.  No system works 100% 100% of the time, its a fact that problems and maintainace happen.
