Get the settings

The New Settings for all phones and tablets
We have also changed the settings for all phones. This isn't a paradigm change, and the old settings will still work, but going forward it is a good idea to have the new ones. These settings are for all devices, including iPhones and iPads. iPhones will no longer have their own special settings, which is good for streamlining things.
Username: "giffgaff"
APN: "giffgaff.com"
password: [Leave blank]
Proxy: [Leave blank]
iPhones and iPads can't edit the proxy manually, so it's best to reset the settings and then use the My giffgaff app to update them. Android and other OS phones will have to update it manually if a software update didn't work.

Hello. Have a quick check here for any issues with the network in your area
http://giff.ly/ggservice

If the signal is okay try a manual roam. This basically means disconnecting from the o2 network then re-establishiing a new network connection. Please see here for instructions
http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/giffgaff-Top-Tips/manual-roam/m-p/3345471

If that doesn't work, switch your phone off, remove your SIM card then wait a few seconds before re-inserting it to see if that improves things

To use giffgaff's mobile internet, you first need to input some settings. For most phones, this needs to be done manually. You can click the link below to see how to set up giffgaff's mobile internet.

Please ensure you have a live goodybag or credit on your account. Text the word 'settings' to 2020. Or, if you have an Android or smart phone, you can download the Giffgaff tweaker Apn App onto your phone, using Wifi.

Also, try restarting your phone. Please also refer to this guide for Internet and MMS APN Settings:
