Hi Everyone, I have a valid goodybag and an extra credit to use when I am abroad. So, WHY GIFFGAFF keeps going to deduct my extra credit when I make some phone calls or I send text, that supposed to be included in my goodybag? Please, tere is any way to block my extra credit and decide when to use it myself?? I have wasted money only because giffgaff doesn't have connection everywere and it uses my extra credit. Looking forward to hearing from you. Many thanks and happy Christmas! Nancy

Hi
Goodybags only cover numbers starting with 01,02,03, and UK mobile 07 numbers. You can also call or text a uk registered mobile number thats anywhere in the world from your goodybag allowance, but the receiver of the call or text may be charged roaming rates that depend on their network providers roaming rates.

0808,0800 and 0500 are free.

numbers starting 0870, 0871, 0872, 0873, (charged in per minute increments) 12p per minute
numbers starting 0843, 0844, 0845, 081, 089 (charged in per minute increments) 12p per minute

For a free alternative that uses goodybag mins. dial 0333 5432111
and then key in the number you wish to reach.

or texting short codes these prices vary considerably. From 10p to £1.50.

Also
Mms cost 16p each to send , and calling and texting abroad is also not part of a goodybag.

Not all types of calls and texts are included in goodybags. For instance, MMSs aren't included and neither are international calls / texts or 0845 or premium numbers. Giffgaff will only use your airtime credit if you use services that are not included in your goodybag.

Whow guys brilliant! Thank you so much, it's clear now. My only concern are about how to stop using my extra credit when I am on wifi or either 3G and I am supposed not to pay for some text or calls. There is any options that let me do so?! No rush to reply. Have a lovely Christmas + Holidys. Nancy
