@heart280695

The only data-only package is the one you've found - 500MB for £5, but you may use any of the goodybags as well, ignoring the minutes and texts.

Evening

You can use ANY of the packages as a 'data only' package in a phone or tablet or MiFi, just ignore the minutes.

Hope that this helps you.

This would be perfect for my Mifi in the caravan, I take it there is no contract with this I can just use it when I go away? if that is the case? I've gone to heaven because evryone else you pay for calls and text and if you use it for MIfi you cannot acess calls or text you are creating your own hotspot on the sites WiFi. technology moves on, the tech boys need to keep up and offer it at a decent price and stop ripping people off. This sounds perfect, trust a community group to break new ground.

Thing is, it’s only 500MB. Ok for occasional use, but wouldn’t last long if used intensively

Hiya @heart280695

Have you tried using your phone as a wifi hot spot you can do that on all smartphones.

That will mean leaving your sim in your phone and still use it to recieve calls and texts and send them too.

Just a thought as thats what i do.

All the best Bob

Yes you can but when you are on a campsite where the WIFi is slow you can use mifi to set up you own hotspot that nobody else can use but boosts your internet above what's available on site. Belive me some of the wifi you pay for on caravan sites is 3/10 at best and 0/10 depending where you are. When away I'm using a samsun tablet 10 inch to stream video which is much better than trying to watch it on a phone. I'm sure that if the community swap info on these sorts of problems we will conquer.

There is no contract and you can stop using it at any time.  Just be aware that when you activate a SIM and add your first goodybag, paying by debit/credit card or paypal, your payment method will be saved and the goodybag set to recur each month until cancelled.

@heart280695

You could also make yourself a few quid in the process (if you click on the banner at the bottom of this post your SIM will have a £5 bonus when you activate it and top it up)..

order your own SIM and get it up and running.

Then order some more SIMs from https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm

Pass these on to fellow campsite users.

Each one that is acivated and topped up will earn you a fiver plus a fiver bonus crdit for theperson activating.

Nice.
