Data not working

Hey, I purchased a £12 goodybag last night which came with 3GB of 3G data but I can't use it. The icon won't even show, I know purchase has worked because I can call and text I just don't know what's happening

First cheak your apn settings. . Then..oldy but works.. turn your phone off for 5 minuets then turn on.. this will repole your phone one the network. . Then cheak to see if data is enabled on your phone .. if it's an android ... flick the screen down from the top to show setting and scroll to the right to see if the mobile data is on.... my mother is always knocking that one

The problem is probably the APN settings, but ... put your postcode in the coverage checker https://giffgaff.com/coverage-and-service to make sure there's service in your area and also in the status checker http://status.o2.co.uk/ to make sure there are no temporary problems.

With quite a few phones you need to do a quick setup to get online.
