Data not working

Hi 

Does anyone knows why my data is not working anymore since giffgaff had their maintenance few days ago? 

I have an Android Samsung A3 (2016) and l can connect easily to WiFi anywhere but can't connect to lnternet (data on - mode)

Also I did restart my phone few times but no changes. 

Any advice whould be fantastic.

Everything fine?

Then try a manual roam, this will update your connection with the network. See the link below on how to perform a manual roam:

• Have you got the correct settings? Here is the settings below:
Go To Settings > Mobile ­Networks > Access Point Names and input the following.

APN: "giffgaff.com"­
password: [Leave blank]­
Proxy: [Leave blank ­

Hi. Thanks so much for your reply. I followed your advice and links, and l performed a manual roaming but no result. Followed some advise on community forum as well, but nothing seems to work. Smiley Sad
My phone seems to work just fine except the data. Massive issue when l need to use the internet and have no Wifi around.

Activate your sim at 3pm

after that it will take 24 hrs to activate

- Do you have signal bars and do calls / texts work?

- How much data do you have remaining on your current goodybag: https://giffgaff.com/dashboard

- Can you verify if other local O2 / giffgaff users around you are experiencing data issues? If so, then still likely a mast problem.

- Is your phone still correctly configured? Worth going through again just to be sure: http://giff.ly/gg_settings
Also try:
• From the APN list: 'Menu -> Reset to default'
• Delete all the APNs, go into each one and select 'Menu -> Delete'
• Create only the giffgaff APN from scratch, and 'Menu -> Save'

- Finally, is your mobile data definitely turned on, do you have any 3G / 4G symbols?

@lotusflower85; have you attempted re-configuring the APN settings? Give it a try and observe if it resolves the issue.

Q 1- all ok
Q2- 5GB data left
Q3-yes, all ok... triple checked
- APN correct
Q4 -absolutely yes Smiley Happy
My data still doesn't work. Hence it was fine until the network maintenance ... l might as well restore the phone to factory settings...
