Firstly where do I find a Messages on my app from an agent and secondly I paid £25 a month for unlimited data on the app it has a bar and the bar is gone and now this is in red and my data does not work but I have unlimited data because I paid £25 a month please someone help

Hi @aimeeparish12 you will have to use the mobile website or on a computer for the replies from agents. It can me accessed here 

https://giffgaff.com/support/questions but they have up to 24hrs to respond. 

 

you can check your allowance by dialing 43430 option 2 or click on the link http://giffgaff.com/dashboard/

 

Reboot your phone to see if that works. 

 

Just so you know there are no unlimited packages on giffgaff anymore. What you have is the £25 Always On goodybag which is "unlimited" with terms. 

 
The Always On package gives 4G speeds on the first 20g of data used and then access to unlimited data at a restricted speed from 8am until midnight. Giffgaff chose a speed 384kbps that allows members to still use regular data services whilst reducing demand on the network.
 
If rebooking doesn’t help, check link below for any ongoing issues with network in your area
 
 
Or you can do a manual roam. See here for instructions
 
 
Last thing to check is your APN settings on your phone to make sure your data setting hasn't reverted back to o2. If it has, see link below on how to change/update your data settings

In regards to the data giffgaff don't do unlimited data the closest thing to unlimited is the always on goodybag. The £25 always on goodybag is designed to give you peace of mind that you'll always have access to data. It gives you 20GB of UK data at full 4G speeds and once you used up the 20GB then you will continue to get data allowance at a reduced speed (384KB) from 8am to midnight. From midnight to 7.59am you have an data allowance at full speed.

If your having data issues Please check the network status in your area to check for any faults with the network in your area by following this link https://giffgaff.com/coverage-and-service and entering your postcode.

Please note: the signal checker only gets updated once an hour so if your problem has just started, or you’re not sure how long it’s been happening, if it says all is good, keep trying for a while to see if it gets an update.

Also turn your mobile device off for about 5 mins and turn it back on to allow the network signal refresh.
