Delivery report on giffgaff

Hi, my delivery report option is switched on, but whenever i send an sms i dont receive a delivery report, does giffgaff support this? Thanks.

Hi there and welcome to the community.
No the person wont receive the *0#,so dont worry,give it at try and send yourself a text.
When you are sending a TEXT message then just type *0# at the start of the message. When the other phone receives your text you will also recieve an alert letting you know the delivery was successful. This is great if you are not sure whether the other phone is switched on or in coverage. This works for texts from your giffgaff phone and to any network.

To get delivery reports on giffgaff  enter *0# at the beginning of the text then continue with the rest of your message.

 

Create a template with the *0# at the beginning and simply use the template anytime you require a delivery report

*0# at the beginning of your message will send back a delivery receipt. I've tried and tested it.

@marka2 ok thanks, thats nice to know. Will the person ive sent the text to recieve the *0# ? At the start of the message?

No, they don't get the *0# , just the message.
