Hey guys I just came back from a holiday. I stayed in Turkey for 7 days and just wondering if anyone else was having problem accessing the Internet or maybe it was just me. The second I got off the plane I straight away got message from O2 saying welcome to Turkey and about how much texts cost and mins etc. but my Internet never used to work. Is GiffGaff Internet working for everyone else or is it just mine :s

You need airtime for Internet to work abroad. Goodybags don't work.

It works but it's expensive. It cost £1.25/mb in the eu and £5/mb for the rest of the world

It does work abroad. Perhaps you didn't have data roaming turned on. At £5 per Mb maybe it's just as well Smiley Wink

I've never been to turkey so I've never tried data there, did everything else work ok?
Do you have the correct settings for data ( if you use data in the uk then that will be a yes )

My Internet settings are good as gold. I have this app called whatsapp and everytime I attempted to open it the connection states connecting.. and seconds later not connected then back to connecting.

Did you actually turn data roaming on, on the phone ?
Did you have any problems using Whatsapp on wifi ( if you tried that )

Never had a problem with wifi abroad, but just the 3G connection itself. It seems as if it's always losing connection rather than connecting, if that makes sense :s
