Hi Guys

So my story is after owning my new Xiaomi Mi9 for two whole days it gets stolen..No problem i hear you say just blacklist it .Well the problem is that the Mi9 is a dual sim mobile and as its easy to blacklist the imei number i had my giff gaff sim in, the other holder within the mobile had never been used so the imei number had never been registered on any network.So giff gaff blacklist the imei registered on the network but the other one is free to be used by anyone that finds my mobile .I have contacted Xiaomi customer services with no joy so i am hoping someone has any new ideas

@chris25109  black listing a phone will block the phone from usage on any UK network regardless of what SIM/Sims are in phone if the 2nd SIM is not activate there is no number if it is activate then what you need to do is block the phone and SIM here on this account

http://giffgaff.com/support/lost

And on other account login and bar SIM only via same link to report phone

Giffgaff will send out replacement Sims for both accounts looking like this only those Sims will then worklarge(11).jpg

Or you could inquire with agents click on phone queries use box provided and explain the issues given full name and address both mobile numbers and the imei number of phone and explain its a dual phone

contact the agents

https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/using-giffgaff/when-to-contact-an-agent/ta-p/9114714

remember allow from a few hours up to a maximum time of 24hrs for agents replies which will show here when logged into your account

Remember agents work from 8am until 11pm daily

@chris25109

See if you can register and block the other IMEI on https://www.immobilise.com/

I do not work for giffgaff, so cannot check anything on your account. This is a public community - please do not post any personal info.
