In http://labs.giffgaff.com does anybody know how to find a list of which ideas you have commented on?

I don't mean ones you voted on, or ideas you made yourself - they are both viewable - I mean ones that you have only commented on.

Finally worked out how to do it but instead of being built in to the giffgaff site you have to use google.

For me it is a google search for:

"tim74" site:labs.giffgaff.com

So for anybody else it would be this link and put your username in https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%22YOUR_USERNAME_HERE%22+site:labs.giffgaff.com

Within the search results the ones you want are in this format:

labs.giffgaff.com/idea/1234567890

any other results take you to an unformatted comment rather than the whole idea.

Hi,

I don't think there is a way to do that specific thing.  The best you can do is go back through your general comments and look in there.  One way you could keep a list yourself is by subscribing to posts that you comment on.  To do that click on 'option's in the top right corner and it's in the drop down list there.

Hope that helps Smiley Wink

Can't subscribe in labs either. Whoever built this thing was clueless about user experience.

Thanks, but the question was specifically about the disasterous mess that is Labs Smiley Sad

Seems pointless making a comment on one if I then can't go back later and read other peoples input.

Well I thought that was the solution but it seems even google doesn't like the labs site enough to bother to spider it very often. Giffgaff really needs to add a page listing your own comments or integrate it with the normal Latest Posts by [username] page Smiley Indifferent

I agree that the lack of this simple option is quite frustrating

You once could subscribe to Ideas (and automatically to all of those you commented on) with the old Ideas forum.... also all posts/comments of yours automatically were stored on your Profile for easy viewing with some sorting functionalities. I am not sure why these basic functions no longer exist. The new platform was put into place in order to get rid of all the limitations of the old, however, if all the useful basic functions of the old disappear: how are we exactly moving forward?

I put up an Idea on the new platform to have these functions brought back. If you too miss them, then please support this idea with your vote: https://labs.giffgaff.com/idea/16698940

Also you may find this similar idea (more specific towards Idea subscribing and "favoriting": https://labs.giffgaff.com/idea/16699785 which is a separate function from voting) of interest.

At any rate, I just hope that these functions are indeed coming back and I imagine that in the end the new platform will indeed be far better than the old.  Smiley Happy
