Giff gaff account temporaily blocked

Just received a txt saying my account is temporairily blocked with a link to re set it. Web address doesn't work on lap top and have not tried it on the phone is this scam?????

Also might be worth reporting not just in case a sim swap is attempted but it might help giffgaff if you give them the web address and / or number the text came from so they can check if this is a “known” site / number or yet another new one

Yes it is,it's a phishing scam that's been doing the rounds for a few weeks now and every time giffgaff get one of the fake websites shut down the scammers launch another one with a new URL.

 

Luckily you've not been bitten by it because the site linked to in the text you received has already been taken down.

Yep, it's a scam @colinthelock luckily you were saved from it. Always double check lins before clicking them, as fraudsters are always on the prowl to steal people's log-in details.
