My friend has misplaced her phone she is a giffgaff customer.  She will buy a new phone but would like to keep her original number when she puts her new giffgaf sim in. Can you advise what she needs to do ?

From her account, either:

Report as lost/stolen - giffgaff will block the SIM and send out a replacement (likely to take 4-5 days though...)

https://giffgaff.com/support/lost

OR

Order giffgaff 3in1 SIM here (4-5day delivery)
https://giffgaff.com/orders/mgm

Then do a SIM Swap to take across your phone number and any credit/goodybag you might have:

https://giffgaff.com/profile/details#simswap

OR

pop into local Iceland, Poundland, Sainsbury, Tesco for a 79p SIM (Quickest...)

Then do a SIM Swap to take across your phone number and any credit/goodybag you might have:

Thank you for all your help I have passed each answer to my friend. Were both a bit old and thick ha ha, so have been struggling with getting around giffgaff. I think were slowly getting there, thanks again
