To set up your iPhone using a WiFi connection first go to Settings, General, Reset then click Reset Network Settings then visit the following link  http://giff.ly/iphonesettings

If you don't have WiFi, you can manually update as follows:
Go to SETTINGS then Mobile, Mobile data (or Cellular, Cellular Data) then type in:

APN ... giffgaff.com
Username ... giffgaff
Password ... [leave blank]
Don't press Reset Settings. Just switch airplane mode on / off

iPhones and iPads can't edit the proxy manually, so it's best to reset the settings and then use

To configure an iPhone for use on GiffGaff, you can do either of the following:

1. Connect to the internet via Wi-Fi and visit http://giff.ly/iphonesettings

2. Follow the instructions on the iPhone KnowledgeBase article at http://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Settings-for-your-device/How-to-giffgaff-iPhones-all-iOS-versions/t...

Hi there. Apple now recognises giffgaff as a carrier so it's now easy to set up your internet/mms.

Assuming you are currently up to date with the latest iOS 7.1.1 and have access to the internet with data allowance/wifi, go to SETTINGS > GENERAL > ABOUT you should be offered an option to update your carrier settings.

Or plug in your iDevice to your computer to connect to iTunes (make sure iTunes is up to date) to install the carrier profile.

If your iPhone is running an older version, you will have to update it to the latest version to install the carrier settings.
