You can start a queued GoodyBag/GigaBag early when either or both of the following is true:

- you have less than 5 minutes of call time remaining on your current GoodyBag
- you have less than 5Mb of internet allowance remaining on your current GoodyBag or GigaBag

To replace your current bundle with a queued one, go to your MyGiffGaff page at http://giffgaff.com/dashboard where there will be a notification showing that your minutes and/or internet allowance is about to run out, and from there, you can start the queued one straight away.

It's important to note that:

1. When you replace a bundle, the old one is erased completely, meaning any minutes/text/data allowances are lost and do not carry over

2. Payment for the new bundle is taken at the point when the GoodyBag is activated, not when the old one was due to expire

Once the process has completed, your new GoodyBag/GigaBag will be visible on your MyGiffGaff page.

@jojokconway

Probably the easiest way would be to watch some video to eat up the data on your current goodybag. As @rhort says, you can start the new one when you get down to 5Mb.

Afternoon @jojokconway
A newly pruchased goodybag can be started early if you have less than 5MB of data and 5 Mins of calls left of your current goodybag. Check your dashboard to see how much of this is reminaning. Try to use YouTube or data consuming apps to use up the Data as quick as possible. Keep note when you move onto the new goodybag all previous text and data etc will be lost

Dear @jojokconway

If you have less than 5 minutes or 5MB data remaining on your current Goodybag, it is then possible to activate your queued goodybag immediately rather than having to wait for your current goodybag to expire.

Please go to your giffgaff dashboard https://giffgaff.com/dashboard. You will see a message/button reading "Start Your Next Goodybag Today", please click on this button to start your next goodybag today. The same operation is also available from the goodybag page.

The queued goodybag will immediately replace your current live goodybag.

Giffgaff have a guide on queued goodybags, which can be viewed by clicking the following link https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Solve-your-questions/Guide-to-queued-goodybags/ta-p/3513321

Good luck to you.

jojokconway Use up your current data (play a video youtube etc...) and run your mins down to 5 minutes then you get the option of starting goodybag early.

Check correct balances from your phone by keying in *100# (for airtime credit) or *100*7# (for goodybags).

You can start a another goodybag early

Your current goodybag/gigabag data needs to fall below the 5mb mark, your calling minutes must fall down to 5 minutes then you can start a goodybag early, otherwise your airtime credit will get used for data.

"I have no data or minutes left, what can I do?"

@jojokconway You will not be able to start a queuing up goodybag early. Unless your minutes, texts, or internet data is running really low.
