Help me transfer my current number

I have asked 3 times now to transfer my old mobile number. I have just done it again for this Friday. I have had an aknowledgement on 26/06/14 that they would look into it.

 

I dont know what to do anymore. I am running to phones as i need to keep my old number.

have you followed the steps correctly to do this with a register giffgaff sim and your pac code as it shouldn't take 3 requests if all is correct

did you get any answers on your my giffgaff page on the main site

it shouldn`t take more than 1 try

To transfer your phone number to giffgaff, you first need to ask your old mobile provider for a Porting Authorisation Code (PAC). You can use then use the transfer form to submit your PAC and choose a date for the transfer. If your number has not been transferred by the day after the scheduled date, you can contact an agent about it.

 

If your number still hasn't transferred by 9am on the following day, you can raise a query to a Member Service Agent. Make sure to complete accurately the following information:  Existing giffgaff mobile number; new mobile number (the one you want to transfer), alternative contact number; PAC.

 

Please do not contact the agents before 9am on the day following the transfer date as the process would be still ongoing and they could not act on it.

Hi Everyone

 

I have done everything as you have suggested and contacted an agent.  Tonight I have just completed the transfer form again in the hope it will go through.
