Hey everyone, I might aswell cut to the chase. Just above a month ago I was made redundant from my work place, and I'm still in the process of finding another job. In this recent period, I've been using my phone a lot during the day with all the free time. Anyway, I've just had a text from giffgaff stating that I have broken their traffic flow policy, and after looking into what this actually was I found out that I was meant to have had an email detailing ways I could curb the amount of data I was using, but looking through my inbox there is no email. I'm wondering if there is a way to appeal this because the unlimited data is a must for me, and I really don't want to have to change provider since I've had such a good relationship with giffgaff!
Hi look in your junk mail it may be there , first u don't have unlimited data it's why goodybag called always on, u have first 6gb at full speed with tethering, after 6gb u can no longer tether and from 8am to midnight your speed is reduced to 256kbps that is fit for emails and browsing web, u should have read info at side of goodybag this link will explain in full detail https://community.giffgaff.com/t5/Learning-and-giffgaffer-articles/Traffic-Flow-Policy/ta-p/12999304... u need read it before u even thinking of asking agents, if they not banned u yet u must alter your usage, if u just had warning there is no point in asking agent they don't relax rules of usage https://giffgaff.com/support/ask agents take upto 24hrs to reply,
