Hi Phone stolen Help

Report as lost/stolen - giffgaff will block the SIM and send out a replacement (likely to take 4-5 days though...)

Hi there - you can report your phone/sim as stolen using the link below. Giff gaf will then send you out a replacment sim card.

Sorry to hear about your phone/sim being lost/stolen Smiley Sad



If you wish to block the sim to prevent it being used then please use this link -

This will block your sim to stop it being used and at the same time it will generate an order for a new sim.

When the new sim arrives, you will need to contact an agent to remove the block so that you can activate your new sim.

Contact an Agent at http://giffgaff.com/support/ask (Select: Your GiffGaff SIM & Services > Activating Your SIM > Replacement for Lost/Stolen SIM) and you should get a response within 24 hours (although typically this will be 3-5 hours)

You'll find any Agent replies at https://giffgaff.com/support/questions (you should also get an e-mail when a message is received there)



You will keep your exisiting number and any credit that you currently have Smiley Happy



BUT -

If you wish to get up and running sooner WITHOUT reporting the sim/phone lost/stolen then do a sim swap as follows -

Sim swap procedures are carried out when a sim card is lost (and you are replacing it WITHOUT REPORTING IT LOST as that is a different procedure. If you have lost you sim and want to quickly get back up and running WITHOUT reporting it lost, then feel free to go ahead and do the sim swap now), damaged or you need a different sized card.

Sims swaps transfer your number and all current credit/goodybag allowance to your new sim which you will be sent. OR to save time you can buy one for around £1 fom Tesco, Poundstretcher, Asda, B&M Bargains and other major stores OR if you already have a sim then you're ready to go ahead and proceed with the procedure.



Sim swaps DO NOT work between 21:30 and 04:30.

If you report your phone/sim as stolen here https://giffgaff.com/support/lost a replacement sim with the same number will be sent out to you.

I do not want the card I want a phone because I do not have a phone and I know if I'm still paying for the phone

Hi @ioanacoscodaru Unfortunaly phone warranty on giffgaff doesn’t cover for lost/stolen unless you got a third party insurance that covered you for that. Sorry.
