I have been having unwanted texts from an unknown number and I was wondering how to block their number without downloading an app? Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks Smiley Happy

First of all don't respond to the text as it may be a fishing exercise to seeif your number is live.
Downloading an app is probably the easiest way.

Search on android market for apps that block a number from texting/calling.

I did it the other day and I have a wildfire too can't remember the app but if you search "number blocker" you will find it. There is so many on the market but look for the one top rated and best commented

I don't think you can do this unless your phone has that option,as gg don't do it.

If your phone doesn't have the option, then it will need to be an app.

Store the number in your contacts. Then go into the number and hit the menu key, which will allow you to go into options.

The options available should be to let it ring on a ringtone of your choice - silent for example, or send it straight to voicemail.

As such you cannot block but this is almost as good as.
