How do I check how much credit I have?

I just joined recently and also a couple of minutes ago actually purchased the 'facebook' goody bag and activated my SIM. 

I was wondering; do I have internet connection straight away or do I have to input new ? How do I check I have credit? (number to call?)

Also just a little suggestion, I think you send a confirmation text to the person after they topped up to let them know and avoid future confusion.

Settings? I went on my' giff gaff' section. There is nothing on there about settings.

dial *100# send   will give you your balance

you should have internet access straight away,

if not and your settings are correctm you may have a data bar on your account,

contact an agent to get this removed....http://support.giffgaff.com/app/ask

What phone do you have. Usually texting settings to 2020 will sort out your internet settings

To check your credit dial *100#

Ok, I just did..

It says 'not active'

Should this be happening? Or do I actually have to wait for a while.

Whats not active?

You may have an internet bar on your account. Send a message to an agent to find out and get it removed if so

Ohh it says this:

 

"Our systems are now activating your SIM. In most cases activation takes less than 30 minutes. When you see your balance and giffgaff phone number in this page it will mean your SIM is ready to use. However, if you requested activation after 10pm, the systems will activate your SIM first thing tomorrow morning."

 

So I'm guessing I have to wait till tomorrow? Smiley Sad
