@lilia5 If you haven't replaced the sim grab a new one and do a sim swap by entering the activation code. A box will pop up saying you are replacing sim sn 56543//^^&&((& it will be your lost simcard.

You need to get the IMEI from the box or receipt that you got. Failing that a giffgaff agent will help

IMEI

The IMEI will be on the box (if the phone was brand new) and on delivery/advice note or invoice.  Otherwise:

If it's an iPhone you can find the IMEI in itunes:

  1. On a Mac, go to iTunes > Preferences. On a PC, go to Edit > Preferences.
  2. Click the Devices tab.
  3. Hold your mouse over a backup of your iOS device to see the serial number. You'll also see the IMEI/MEID and CDN for your iPhone or iPad (cellular model).

If it's Android, you can find it on your Google dashboard. https://www.google.com/android/find  (Hover the cursor over the circled "i" to the right of the phone's name).

SIM Serial Number (SSN):

Provided you have not reported the loss to giffgaff, you can find the SSN by doing the first part of a SIM swap.   To do this, you need the activation code from a new SIM card (I can supply an activation code if you do not have a spare SIM)

  1. Log into your giffgaff account
  2. Go to the SIM activation page: https://giffgaff.com/activate
  3. Enter the code from the new SIM
  4. Click "Activate your SIM"
  5. The SSN of your current SIM is shown in the left-hand box
  6. Click "Go to my giffgaff' to exit this screen.

The SSN from the screen has 19 digits.   The one on your SIM will be 13 digits, so omit the first 6 digits (894411) when completing the lost property report.

I do not work for giffgaff, so cannot check anything on your account. This is a public community - please do not post any personal info.

@lilia5

You need to contact agent: https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/My-account/Something-else/form/ and can request for it.

Reply from agent can take up to 24 hours but are normally quite quick: https://giffgaff.com/support/questions
