Greeting, I want to know how to change my  Samsung Galaxy Fit gt-s5670 message tone besides the default ones. My old phone which was a Samsung Monte, you could choose your own mesage tone (mp3). The current tone I have which is alright beside I know in the future will drive me either insane or spook me when I least expect it.

So I wonder if anyone could help on this matter and I'm not a phone techie by the way.

Well it looks like an Android phone so it will be running Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich. So have a look at the "Alert tones" in the settings menu and it will give you options.Download others from the Market for other s if the stock one's are not to your liking.

I don't want the default tone and it does not have a option for custom or other message tone. I had to do it the roundabout way for my ring tone, by going to the actually mp3 file and select it as my ring tone from the option menu.

It does not have one for the message tone as an option.
