hi @marcu85951

It's likely your phone used a little mobile data and spent some of your credit.

Don’t worry, this is a fairly common mistake and you’ll get your money back. To resolve your issue:

1. Ask an agent using this link, they will refund you the credit: https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/Top-up-balances-and-goodybags/goodybag-allowances-or-credit-ba...

2. When the credit is refunded, exchange the credit for a ‘goodybag’ using this guide: http://bit.ly/kbggbagfromcredit

Next time, you can exchange the voucher directly for a goodybag, instead of simply adding it as credit then exchanging it in two steps.

I also recommend you simply set your goodybag to 'auto-recur' (like a direct debit), so it renews monthly and you don't have to worry: https://giffgaff.com/profile/payment-details#goodybagsettings

Small losses of credit are usually caused by small amounts of data being used without an active internet inclusive goodybag. It's not a glitch on giffgaff's part.

You lost credit due to either an app using data or straying from the giffgaff top up page.

Please contact an agent and they will refund you enough this time to purchase a goodybag. Go HERE

@marcu85951

A few suggestions to prevent this happening in future:

  1. Buy your next goodybag before your current one expires / runs out of data.   The new goodybag will queue to start as the current ne expires.
  2. Turn mobile data off when your goodybag expires, and use wifi (or another device) until your next goodybag purchase is confirmed.
  3. Purchase a goodybag without topping up first.
    - Online (https://giffgaff.com/buy/goodybags) Payment methods: card, paypal, voucher, existing credit. Select the goodybag then choose your payment method
    - From your phone, dial 43430, option 2. Payment methods: Voucher, existing credit (or voucher + existing credit)  Select the goodybag then choose a payment method (Tip: To get the £25 goodybag when paying by voucher, buy a £25 O2 voucher)
