I`m Just top up two giffgaff vouche 10&15, and I can`t get 25 goodybag.

I`m just top up from two giffgaff vouchers 10 & 15, and I can`t get 25 goodybag plan. Why Giffgaff system take 0.01 pens?

Get me confused for take 25 pounds goodybag. Looks some mistyke?

Hi, do take heed of the advice by
muddycalhoun and you won't encounter the problem again

The key is to buy a goodybag direct from your voucher rather than redeem or add the voucher then complete a second step to convert to a goodybag

As advised you need to buy an o2 £25 voucher to complete the one step proccess,

As has been mentioned the easiest way to buy a goodybag is to call 43430 and press option 2
(not option 1)

If you want to buy a goodybag online direct with a voucher,

There's a few restrictions

(logged in with a browser) 
From your my giffgaff page 
Http://giffgaff.com/dashboard 
Click the yellow buy goodybag button 
(if you already have a live goodybag and want to queue, click here 
Http://giffgaff.com/buy )

Click the goodybag section and select a goodybag. 

On the ways to pay, there's an option to use a voucher 
Click that 
Input your voucher code and click the yellow continue button 

additional points/restrictions when using a browser, if you don't currently have a live goodybag
you need to  remove your debit card details or add your PayPal details and click to use that as your default payment, otherwise the use voucher option won't appear

 

(via the my giffgaff app) 
DON'T click the buy goodybag button from the main account page 
(you won't see the use voucher option)
Click the menu button (top /left) 
Click "ways to buy"
You'll then be presented with the same pages as though you were using a browser, and the pay by voucher option will be visible

This is a common glitch. Contact an agent using this link and they should refund you the 1p so you can buy your gooodybag https://support2.giffgaff.com/app/ask/Top-up-balances-and-goodybags/goodybag-allowances-or-credit-ba...

Make sure you turn your data off and use wifi if you have no goodybag so that it does not use any of your airtime credit before you buy the goodybag.

@chudy2006 Its what some call the 1p glitch and is disproportionately irritating. To get the problem sorted out you will have to contact a giffgaff agent and they are easily found from scrolling down your dashboard page to the"my messages" section and clicking on the word"support" in bold type. Agents can take some time to respond but be patient and don't resubmit your request it will set you back to square one, agents usually reply in a few hours but allow a maximum of 24.
For future reference I would recommend that instead of purchasing the two giffgaff vouchers for £25 choose the O2 £25 voucher and the 43430 number and option 2, this should help prevent you having the hassle of the 1p glitch

It's always worth turning mobile data OFF prior to topping up. This is because the moment you top up, apps can begin running in the background.
